Investorâs âInsiderâ Insight
Your friend in success Rob,
One day to go before we celebrate independence day. Since July of 1776 we will be have had 249 independence days. I am so proud to be an American where not matter what we all know we are free.
We also have the opportunity to build our own personal freedom and between you and I there is nothing more free than being able to print money using the stock market.
Whether it is trading options or sellling options we can create our own dividends and rent from the stocks we own. Options allow us to generate income same as someone owning real estate.
Finanical Freedom isnât won or bought. It is earned trade by trade so remember that.
Even Buffett said that the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.
Truer words have never been written. Now onto the market.
đ˘ 1. Quick Hit â Market Summary
Today played out mostly as expected. The broader markets didnât deliver much excitementâexcept for one standout:
â
The Wilshire 5000 showed consistent gains throughout the session.
đ Key stocks within the WilshireâCaterpillar (CAT), John Deere (DE), and Cummins (CMI)âposted strong upward moves.
If you were already holding calls on these names, today may have been the last leg of the trade before momentum begins to shift.
đ Shift in Setup: Calls to Puts
The charts are starting to flash a change in direction:
- Many setups are beginning to lean bearish, hinting at put opportunities ahead.
- A few smaller call setups are still on radar, but with limited upsideâ leave those for the chasers and enjoy the long weekend with your money parked on the sidelines.
đ Short-Term Outlook: Sideways Drift
I expect the next couple of days to be relatively range-bound with minimal directional conviction.
This kind of chop isnât ideal for aggressive trading, so Iâll be monitoring rather than forcing positions.

The win isnât the trade â itâs sticking to your plan. Protect capital. Stay intentional.
