Market at a Glance: Breakout to Test Highs

Hey Investors,

In the market today you had some short calls that you could take advantage of as the market starts to breakout of the squeeze to retest previous highs. The stock market is rising but is massively overbought, espically the $SP500.

📊 Chart Perspective

- The Daily chart still has a downside bias, but the candles for the past 7 days until today were sideways.

- This move up could continue obviously for the rest of the week which is one day but also into middle of next week.

- The smaller intraday movement on the charts support the little rise however I still am watching for the most profitable next big trades are going to be to the downside.

The charts did not confirm my put entries so I stayed out and entered calls.

- I sold calls on (MP)

- I bought calls on $RUT the $2255 calls

Upcoming earnings trades that could pop off next week.

📈 The Trading Journal 

I am a bit furstrated at myself for missing some highly profitable calls on the indexes SPY and $RUT I could’ve traded for profit today off the 55 minute chart. We are still in earnings and that means I still have alot of possible trades to profit from and hit this months target. August is this most probable place to see a strong profitable decline.
