{July 11th Plan of Attack}
Investorâs âInsiderâ Insight
Your friend in success Rob,
Let me start by apologizing for not writing the past few days. I was under the weather dealing with 2 seperate medical issues, but I am back on the grind now.
Let me start the rest by painting a picture of how powerful a tool the stock market can be.
I have been doing the market both trading and investing since 2015 full time, but at 34 the memory of the first class I sat in was back in 2004 and I was bit and infected by the stock market bug!
The biggest eye opening moment for me was when the instructor laid out the math on $15,000 invested in stocks that compounded your money by 15% a year. In 15 years you will have $120,000.
That is nice, but then he said in this class I am going to show you how to earn 15% a month regualry. He did the math again andâŚ.in 5 years youâre money grows to $65,759,981.18!! That is why I keep grinding on my stock market craft.
I have never be involved in anything else that pays that well on the back end for the work you do today.
Big weatlh that is my goal, is it yours?
đ˘ 1. Quick Hit â Market Summary July 10th Wrap-Up
Today the market closed breaking out upward and a few nice call trades were available, but in the shorter term.
The SP500 is rising on the bigger charts but on the smaller Daily, 144, 60 minute charts we see a turn around being the next big profitable place to trade in my opinion.
Large chart pressure is still pushing up and stocks that I trade have earnings coming out in the next 2 weeks. That trades will be there we just have to wait for the setups.
đ The Trading Journal
I made the mistake of focusing to much on the 1st break downward after the market paused when hitting new highs. I missed some crucial profitable trades to the upside by focusing on the puts not working.
I need to remember that a test to a rising Moving average on a big chart will generally mean a day or two move on the call side on a smaller say 55 minute chart.
The July historical trend points to a middle of July possible decline and then in August the earnings upside effect usually ends quickly with a downside bias.
That all fits to my idea of a decent sized decline coming. However keep in mind that the market is in a bull market mode with the year being exceptionally strong to the upside, but the summer slide that is usual will probably not be as strong.
đŻ 3. The Hitlist â Stocks on the Radar
đĄ Tickers : the following are all earnings trades that I plan to trade this month
#1 - AMAT ( 8/14) earnings
#2 - GS (7/16) earnings
#3 - CMI (7/ 30) earnings
#4 - CAT (8/5) earnings
#5 - DE ( 8/13) next earnings
#6 - TSLA ( 7/23) next earnings
#7 - COIN ( 7/31) next earnings
#8 - NOW (7/23) next earnings
#9 - BA (7/ 30 ) next earnings
If I can hit just 3 of these trades before the end of July then I will be able to hit my target for this month.
đ° 4. Income Opportunities â Getting Paid to Own Stocks
I am going to buy stock a 100 shares of MP ( MP Materials Corp) and sell a covered call on that at the $46 strike for $1 a share premium. That is just estimate I will know more when I pull the trigger.
MP | 45.23 | 46 | 1.10 | 44.13 |
5. Stock Market Attack Plan
This plan is based on current market analysis cut with my historical data on what is probable to occur both in 2025 and during this current month of July. I expect the market to continue in a bull market situation, but the stock market from now into August could setup a nice put situation with a pullback.
Then September/October will probably be a really nice place for calls.
I am looking for 2-3 trades for July and atleast 1 stock that will be my income for this month.
